Hi. Having shared with you what NEMPACT does and its SALT model, it would be pertinent to explain in brief the ‘’ Psychometric Tests’’ and use of ‘’Holland Codes.’’ for the SALT. To connect with the above first please do read https://nempact.com/blogs/?p=115to get an idea about S.A.L.T.(Skill Aptitude And Level Test). What is Psychometric Tests? Psychometric tests are a scientific method and standards used to measure mental capabilities and behavioral style of individuals. These are designed to measure candidates appropriateness for a role based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude or cognitive abilities. We at NEMPACT believe that empowering the youth in the truest sense doesn't just entail helping them find jobs, but the "right" kind of jobs where their skill, interest and aptitude lies. In order to excel, one needs to build a career in a field which they are instinctively drawn towards and where their skills can be best optimized. To ensure this, our specialized tool S.A.L.T.,is a well-rounded, online assessment which is a combination of Psychometric and Technical tests. To help people find the most suited career opportunities. We test not just their technical knowledge, but also assess their suitability for the role based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude. Our Psychometric Test is based on the 'Holland Codes' which is a way of classifying people according to their interests so that they can be matched with appropriate careers. The system was developed by Dr. John L. Holland who theorized that there are six broad areas into which careers can be classified, namely- Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional (RIASEC). Based on this theory, we have customized the Holland Codes for skilled blue-collar workers to make it better suited to the candidates' need, understanding and context to get the best possible results. For instance, a candidate wishing to pursue a career in construction, shouldn't just have knowledge of working with various tools or machinery, but should also have a practical and imaginative personality type to be able to create tangible things by hand. When you complete this process, our placement counselors will guide you and help you to meet the real potential you have. As we discussed in our last blog, it is beneficial to them who can not afford higher studies due to lack of finances and opportunities. "Dream Big,"NEMPACT, will help you to achieve your dreams. Here, we also make your CVs by assessing you and gather the relevant information from you. Because a good representation of your skill sets is one of the most crucial steps to getting your desired job. If you find this useful, like, comment and share.   If you still have any query, please feel free to contact us at operations@nempact.com. Just drop a mail, our team will be happy to assist you.
